2 Arrested In Illinois In Connection With Norcross Shooting
A Covington man who died in the shooting was found behind a Norcross gas station Sunday.

NORCROSS, GA — Two men were arrested this week in Illinois in connection with the shooting death of a Covington man who was found dead behind a Gwinnett County gas station Sunday, police said Thursday.
Gwinnett County Police said Marcus Bush, 39, was found dead around 12:45 p.m. behind the station located at Peachtree Industrial and Jimmy Carter boulevards.
Police said Keonte Anderson, 29, of Peachtree Corners, and Jonas Albright-Gillis, 28, of Doraville, were arrested in connection with the case. The car involved in the shooting was identified as an Audi SUV.

Both Anderson and Albright-Gillis were seen traveling in Illinois in the SUV, police said. The Calumet City Police Department was notified, and hours later, officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle, police said.
Anderson and Albright-Gillis were arrested and were taken to the Cook County Detention Center. Jail records showed they were arrested Wednesday. They will be extradited to Gwinnett County.

Anderson was charged on suspicion of felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of certain felonies. Albright-Gillis was charged on suspicion of felony murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of certain felonies and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, police said.
