Open enrollment for those without health insurance, or interested in looking at the new plans is, October 1, 2013 to March 31, 2014.
Questions still surround implementation of the law and hopefully the following is helpful: The Georgia Federal Exchange will have limited carriers and plans offered will have a limited network of providers and hospitals. Plans chosen on the exchange in 2013 will be issued January 2014. Individuals with pre-existing conditions and those presently without a health plan can purchase both on and off the exchange.
