"Taco-bout" a menu shakeup - Waffle House, a prominent 24-hour eatery, is testing out two new dishes at about 45 Georgia locations.
It has been about a week since the Norcross-based franchise, arguably a staple in Georgia culture, launched tacos on the menus of a number of its Peach State restaurants.
They are not the infamous all-star special, but Waffle House representatives on Wednesday told Patch that positive feedback has been received since the debut of its tacos.
For breakfast, patrons can partake in egg and cheese sandwiched with either bacon, sausage, ham or chicken sausage inside a taco.
Meanwhile, cheesesteak, chicken or patty melt tacos are now available for lunch or dinner.
The options are available no matter the time of day and will be offered for a few months, according to Waffle House.
