β’ Falcons get amputees on the field for first Adaptive Sports Day (wsbtv.com) β Norcross residents saw Meadowbrook High School's football field transformed as the Atlanta Falcons and prosthetics maker Ottobock hosted the first Adaptive Sports Day for dozens of amputees. Participants, including a veteran fitted with a running blade for the first time, ran drills with a former Falcons receiver and heard encouragement from a former college star who lost his leg but stayed active in sports advocacy.
