• Driver faces 15 charges after 145 mph chase ends in serious crash (wsbradio.com) — A late-night stunt-driving takeover in Norcross led to a 145 mph police chase and a serious crash near Peachtree Industrial Boulevard and Blue Ridge Industrial Parkway, badly injuring another driver. Georgia State Patrol says the suspect fled the scene but was later arrested and now faces 15 charges, including hit-and-run. Residents may notice ongoing legal proceedings and increased enforcement around local street takeovers.
   

• New floral garden commemorates Rosalynn Carter at Best Friend Park (roughdraftatlanta.com) — A new Rosalynn Carter garden with 1,946 flowers has been planted at Best Friend Park, just outside the Norcross city limits along Jimmy Carter Boulevard. The tribute, part of Gwinnett's Jimmy Carter Day, includes a mural, commemorative plaque, and specially chosen camellias, and reflects ongoing investment and beautification efforts in the Norcross-area Gateway85 Community Improvement District.
