• Police in Georgia Search for Missing 13-Year-Old Girl From Norcross After She Was Last Seen Leaving Home in a Blue Toyota Corolla (newsbreak.com) — Norcross residents are being urged to help locate 13-year-old Evelin Inestroza, last seen leaving her Gulf Terrace home on September 29 and getting into a blue Toyota Corolla with aftermarket wheels. Gwinnett County police ask anyone who may have camera footage, saw the car, or recognizes her description to contact detectives or Crime Stoppers immediately so they can confirm her safety and trace her movements.
• Georgia's Massive Furniture Clearance Center Has Some Of The Best Name-Brand Deals (takingthekids.com) — Norcross shoppers have just a few days left to visit Georgia Furniture Mart's massive Dawson Boulevard showroom before its permanent closure and liquidation sale wraps up around October 12. The 92,000-square-foot Norcross flagship and attached clearance outlet are offering deep discounts on name-brand furniture and mattresses, but inventory is shrinking fast, so residents should measure rooms, inspect pieces carefully, and clarify delivery terms before buying.
• Alabama Offers Speedy Four-Star Defensive Back in Class of 2028 (newsbreak.com) — Alabama's latest football recruiting update includes a nod to Norcross, where three-star edge rusher Tyler Younger is part of the Crimson Tide's 2027 class. The piece focuses on a new 2028 offer to speedy defensive back Kia Jones Jr., while listing current commitments from Georgia and across the Southeast that could shape future SEC matchups.
