Daniel Taylor Named Guardian Life Insurance Company’s Top New DIS in Individual Disability Premium

Norcross resident Daniel Taylor was awarded the 2012 Top New Disability Insurance Specialist (DIS) in Individual Disability Premium at The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America’s National Agency Wholesaler Meeting in Boston, Massachusetts.  This award recognizes the Disability Income Specialist who had the highest new paid premium in 2012 in Individual Disability Insurance among all DIS’s in their first three years with Guardian.

Mr. Taylor serves as the Brokerage Manager and Disability Insurance Specialist for Ashford Advisors, a position he has held since 2009.  He works with financial professionals throughout North Georgia to customize disability insurance plans to meet the needs of their clients. Mr. Taylor entered the industry following in the footsteps of his father, Leonard B. Taylor, who retired in 2006 as a result of a debilitating illness.  Mr. Taylor knows first-hand the importance of having protection in place for unexpected life events, and has a passion for helping people to develop a plan, because a disability can affect their entire lives in ways they would never expect, as it did his family.

Mr. Taylor is a native of Atlanta, Georgia and resides in Norcross, Georgia with his family.  He graduated cum laude from Georgia State University in 2008.  He attended Washington & Lee University in Virginia until his father’s illness prompted him to return to Georgia.
