Another Recall From Flying Food Group

Flying Food Group has issued a recall of some of its products.

According to the Associated Press, the Lawrenceville based food manufacturer announced the recall Saturday and said the potentially deadly bacteria Listeria could be items produced by its plant. No illnesses related to the recall have been reported.

Production at the plant has been suspended until an investigation can be completed. 

The items recalled all have an expiration date of November 30, 2011 and would have been distributed to RaceTrac stores in Georgia. They include: the Chicken Quarter Pounder, the Chicken Quarter Pounder with Tomatoes, the Ham Quarter Pounder, the Ham Quarter Pounder with Tomatoes and the American Sub.

A RaceTrac spokesperson says the company independently found the items unsafe and never put them on their shelves.
