Armed Men Rob Hotel in Norcross
The robbery happened Saturday night at the Courtyard by Marriott in Norcross.
NORCROSS, GA — Police are searching for two armed men who robbed a Norcross hotel on Saturday.
The robbery, at Courtyard by Marriott at 6235 McDonough Dr., happened shortly after 8 p.m.
According to Gwinnett County Police, one of the robbers pointed a silver semi-automatic handgun at the front desk clerk and demanded money. Meanwhile, the other man approached two customers in the lobby.

The clerk opened two drawers, police said, and the first suspect removed a couple hundred dollars.
The other robber approached a patron who was on his phone, but never made any threats, police say.

After the first robber got the money, both men ran away toward a nearby McDonald's.
The first robber is described as a black male, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with the hood over his head and drawstrings pulled tight. He was also wearing blue jeans with gray sneakers with white soles.
The second robber is described as a black male wearing a striped, multi-colored shirt, black pants and a red and black baseball cap, with a surgical mask over his face.

Crime Stoppers tipsters may receive up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.
