Armed Robber Hits Walgreen's Near Stone Mountain (Video)

Video surveillance shows the robber walk in, show a handgun and walk out with several hundred dollars.

STONE MOUNTAIN, GA — A man with a handgun walked into the Walgreen's store near Stone Mountain recently, robbing it of several hundred dollars, according to police.

It was about 6:30 p.m. on January 30 when the robber entered the store, at 5435 Five Forks Trickum Rd. in unincorporated Gwinnett County.

Surveillance cameras show the man walking into the store wearing dark clothing and carrying a small backpack. He walks up to the cashier and demands money from the cash drawer while holding a black handgun.

After receiving what police said was a few hundred dollars, he is seen walking out the front door.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned black male, standing 6'0" to 6'1" and weighing 150-180 pounds. He has dark hair and a mustache and was wearing blue pants, a black hooded sweatshirt and black shoes with white soles.
