Thank You For a Blue Tree Experience

Spring in Norcross is one of my favorite times of year! I love seeing the trees bloom and our parks overflowing with kids and neighbors, and I love art. So it kinda makes sense that I would love the blue trees too. I was thrilled to be part of the blue tree project, I especially enjoyed explaining to kids why we were painting trees blue and seeing them 'get it' and then pick up a paint brush and join in. I'm not alone in loving the blue trees, some of the touching things I have seen include a bridal party posing for pictures with blue trees; kids and grandparents stopping to talk about blue trees; kids hanging birdseed feeders in the blue trees; photography students working to capture that special shot; and the most moving of all was hearing one little boy tell his dad that he will forever remember painting the trees. I hope he does.
