Norcross Yarn Bombers brought their unique brand of whimsy to downtown Norcross this weekend.
Have you seen the colorful fiber art that erupted in downtown Norcross over the weekend? Whodunnit? The group is made up of over 30 local knitters and crocheters who spent 3 months stitching together the pieces for the yarn bomb installation. The whole process from planning, making and installing, and seeing the public's reaction has been a blast. If it doesn't make you smile, nothing will. Known as yarn bombing, yarn storming, guerrilla knitting, urban knitting and even graffiti knitting, this smile-evoking phenomenon certainly catches the imagination.
