Celebrate Easter at City Parks

Thrasher and Rossie Brundage parks will host an egg hunt Saturday and sunrise services will be held Sunday morning.

and will be busy this Easter weekend with three free holiday events that the public is welcome to.

On Saturday at 10 a.m., check out the Easter egg hunt for kids ages 10 and under at Rossie Brundage. There will be three age range groups (3-under, 4-7 and 8-10), with appropriate goodies for each group. Arrive early to get ahead in the game, because if you get there five minutes late, all the eggs may be gone.

Afterward, meet and pose with the Easter bunny for a free photo op, and check out the inflatables and clowns around town.

Sunday brings two churches down to Thrasher Park-- and Generations Church. Norcross First UMC will have a short service at 6:45 a.m. with live music, donuts and coffee to get you going for Easter Sunday. A second sunrise service will be held at 9 a.m. by Generations.
