Fire Safety Program for Kids
The Gwinnett County Public Library system welcomes volunteers from the Gwinnet County Fire Department at the Norcross Branch for a demonstration on what to do in case of a fire. This program will introduce children, ages 4 & up, to safety techniques such as "Stop, Drop & Roll" and "Don't Hide- Go Outside!" A fire engine will be present for kids to view and ask questions about the tools and gear needed to put out a fire. Boys and girls will also be instructed in ways to prevent a fire from starting.Come check out this free informational event! For more details, please visit www.gwinnettpl.org.
