Firefighters Battle House Blaze in Norcross

The fire was in the three-story home's attic, officials said.

NORCROSS, GA — Firefighters we on the scene of a house fire in Norcross on Friday afternoon.

The fire happened at the 250 block of West Peachtree Street NW, near Lake Drive.

Units were dispatched to the fire at 1:57 p.m. Crews arrived to find heavy fire showing in the attic of the three-story house.

Not long afterward, the fire was declared under control. No injuries had been reported Friday afternoon.

The cause of the fire was undetermined, a fire spokesman said.
