GAC Nominated for Theatre Awards
Greater Atlanta Christian Schools holds two nominations for choreography and supporting actor in the Shuler Hensley Awards.
has been nominated in two categories for the Shuler Hensley Awards, also known as The Georgia High School Musical Theater Awards.
Announced in a press release from the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre Foundation, GAC has been recognized for it's production of "Disney's Beauty and the Beast." The show has been nominated for the Choreography category, student Jacob Baker has been given a nod in the Supporting Actor category for his role as Gaston.
GAC is among 42 high schools from 12 counties that have been nominated in the awards' 15 categories.

The winners will be announced in a Tony Awards-style ceremony Tuesday, April 17, at 7:30 p.m. at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, located at 2800 Cobb Galleria Parkway in Atlanta.
