Gwinnett Man Killed in Norcross Gas Station Shooting
Police say the victim got into an argument with two men outside the gas station late Saturday night.
NORCROSS, GA — A Gwinnett County man was shot and killed late Friday while shopping at a gas station in Norcross, according to police.
At about 11:13 p.m., police say, Vitali Mialik, 34, of Suwanee, had stopped at the Valero gas station at 1795 Beaver Ruin Road.
While he was there, police say a vehicle carrying two other men arrived. They also went inside the store and one of the men made a purchase.

As the two men left and were beginning to drive away, they got into a verbal argument with Mialik, who was standing in the parking lot. The argument escalated and the driver pulled an assault rifle from the vehicle and shot Mialik.
Gwinnett County Police arrived to find him on the ground in the parking lot with a single gunshot wound. Mialik was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses describe the shooter as a black male, 18-25 years old, standing 5'9" to 6'0" tall with a slim build. The second suspect, who did not appear on the store's security cameras, is only described as being 18-25 years old with average height and build.


Their vehicle is described as a white or silver SUV, possibly a Toyota 4-Runner or similar type of vehicle. Both suspects are considered armed and dangerous.
