Six sparkling houses from yesteryear and today will dress up in their holiday finest as they open their shining doors to visitors and neighbors for the Historic Norcross Holiday Tour of Homes on December 6. The owners of these wonderful homes have been sprucing up their floors, polishing furniture, dusting chandeliers and decking their lovely halls in anticipation for the many guests that will stroll through their decorated rooms.

Shuttles will drop sightseers off at each of the charming stops including: the Bottom House, Ashford Place, the Born House, the Davenport House, Seven Norcross Townhomes by the Providence Group and the Johnson House. Additional treats await individuals at the historic Cotton Gin and Santa’s Workshop and Marketplace at the Rectory. The downtown stores and eateries will also offer up special holiday magic for Tour “explorers,” and there will be loads of goodies awaiting shoppers. Trees will be lit, and the sidewalks will glisten with festive adornments, as shop owners welcome excited Tour-goers.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 the day of the Tour of Homes. This price includes the Day Tour from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm and the beautiful Candlelight Tour from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Luminaries will line the streets, and the road will definitely shine. This price includes entry into Santa’s Workshop and Marketplace (a must-see). “Babies in arms” are free.

The much anticipated celebration of the holiday season is a rain or shine event. So, bring your imaginations and discover the beauty and enchantment of the homes of Norcross.
