JCB Interchange Work Postponed, Bridge Will Be Open This Weekend
With rain in the forecast, the Gwinnett DOT has postponed work on diverging interchange crossover to March 27-30.

The Gwinnett County Department of Transportation has postponed the planned closing of the Jimmy Carter Boulevard bridge over I-85 that was originally scheduled for this weekend.
The DOT said it was due to the forecast of rainy conditions.
The bridge had been scheduled to be closed March 20-23 for the crossover of the bridge to the new diverging diamond interchange. Dry conditions are needed to so that all of the construction can be completed before Monday morning rush hour, the DOT said.

The closure has been re-scheduled to March 27-30, weather permitting.
