Lawrenceville Man Killed In Norcross Shooting

NORCROSS, GA — The man Gwinnett County Police said was found shot to death in the doorway of an Indian Trail Road restaurant was identified by police Saturday as Jerrett Mitchell, 22, of Lawrenceville.

A second man suffered non-threatening injuries in the April 28 shooting, which took place around 6 p.m., police said. Two people ran from the scene, leading to a helicopter search, police said.

Suspect details have not been released and a motive is unknown.
