Presented by The Atlantan and Lincoln, Lenox Square’s Legendary 4th of July event will offer Cook the opportunity to entertain guests and perform on-stage for a 20-minute set. He will also win a $500 Simon Giftcard®.
Having lived in unique locales such as West Germany and South Korea, Cook has always had a life-long passion for music and people. His music is influenced by the familiar rhythms of Dave Matthews, Paul Simon and Jason Mraz, while also capturing a sound that is his own. "Upbeat positivity is a Wes constant, in his music and his attitude", saidRolling Stone Magazine of the blue-eyed singer-songwriter. Cook released his critically acclaimed, solo acoustic debut album, “We’ve Been Here Before,” in 2005 and has since been on the radar for music fans across Georgia. With a full-band album on Spotify titled “New Ground,” Cook has made live appearances on television programs such as FOX 5 Atlanta, CBS Better Mornings Atlanta and 11Alive. He has performed at music festivals such as Atlanta’s own Dogwood Festival and 99X Unplugged in the Park, in addition to sharing the stage with nationally recognized talent including Zac Brown, Manchester Orchestra and Marc Broussard.

Featured on MTV2 as an “Artist on the Rise,” Cook has been nominated for “Best Alternative Band” by the Georgia Music Awards and "2006 Soloist of the Year" by the Athens Music Awards. He is currently touring and has plans to record a third studio album in winter 2013.
