Man Charged With Illinois Murder Arrested at Home in Norcross: Report
The police also arrested a local woman on separate charges, says report.

NORCROSS, GA β An Illinois man is behind bars on charges that he shot a man to death in January and fled to Georgia, according to a media report.
Tariq Pinnick, 20, is being held without bond at the Gwinnett County Detention Center following his arrest Thursday by Gwinnett police, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. Along with first-degree murder, he's been charged with giving false information to authorities, according to jail records.
Pinnick is charged with shooting Dylan Somma, 22, in Lockport, Illinois, according to AJC.com.

The Gwinnett police received a tip that Pinnick was staying at a home in Norcross and apprehended him there, a spokeswoman for the Gwinnett County Sheriffβs Office told the Journal-Constitution. They also arrested Cynthia Martinez, 38, on warrants from Newton and Jasper counties.
The shooting occurred on Jan. 13 in a neighborhood of Lockport, a suburb of Chicago. Somma was an ex-convict who was looking to buy drugs when he got into a fight and was shot, according to the Will County Sheriff's Office.

Responding to a report of shots fired, deputies found Somma in a yard with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
Martinez is being held in the Newton County jail, AJC.com reported.
