Man Found Dead At Norcross Construction Site

The public's help is needed in identifying a man police said was recently found dead in unincorporated Norcross.

NORCROSS, GA — The public's help is being sought in identifying a man who was recently found dead by construction workers in Norcross, Gwinnett County Police said Thursday.

Officers responded on Aug. 7 to a suspicious activity call near Live Oak Parkway in unincorporated Norcross. Police said construction workers working at a new construction site found the man's body.

Police did not say how the man died. An autopsy was performed, and the cause and manner of death are pending an investigation.

The man was described as a Hispanic man between ages 20 and 50. Police said he is about 5 feet and 2 inches tall and weighs about 130-150 pounds. The man wore blue jeans that were a size 30 by 34, a grey GAP tank top and blue, red and white plaid pajama pants. He had a white metal beaded necklace, white socks with a lime green stripe on the foot, a black belt and a tan or light brown Nike hoodie.

Police said the man has a tattoo on his left forearm with the words, “John 3:16,” and a rosary with a cross. The right forearm has two nautical stars and the word “Maria” with wings, police said.
