Man Robbed Family Dollar Store With A Knife
Police are seeking help identifying the armed robber, who wore a red bandanna on his face during the crime.

NORCROSS, GA — Gwinnett County Police are searching for a man who robbed a Family Dollar store in Norcross with a knife.
They believe the robber is the same man who entered the store two days earlier and asked about what time it closed.
The robbery happened at the store at 7050 Jimmy Carter Blvd. on November 11 at around 9:30 p.m.

As two employees were preparing to close the store, the robber burst out of the bathroom with a knife and demanded that they get on the ground.
He then escorted them to the front of the store, where he made one of the employees open a safe and took more than $2,500 in cash.

The man who inquired about closing time on November 9 had the same build and appeared to be wearing the same clothes, police said.
Photos from both dates appear to show the same person. He is described only as a black male wearing a gray jacket with a red bandanna.


Anyone with information in the case is asked to contact Gwinnett County detectives at 770-513-5300.

They may also text a tip to "Crimes" (274637). Crime Stoppers tipsters may receive up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.
