New Bakery in Historic Norcross
Gingerspice brings delicious sweets, baked goodies, & local coffee to Historic Norcross.
The newest addition to Historic Norcross offers a blend of traditional Southern treats and French sweets in a cozy “corner store” setting. Gingerspice Bakery serves up a delicious assortment of mini-cakes, French macarons, pies, and more, plus locally-roasted Rev coffee.
Gingerspice brings a perfect combination of convenience, accessibility, and “just right” selection, with everything from traditional favorites like peanut butter cookies to home-spun novelties, including the “Peach Jones,” named for the Bakery’s central location at the intersection of South Peachtree Street and Jones Street. It’s the perfect spot to grab a quick go-box or to linger awhile and chat with owner Nicole Adams. “Baking is a passion; there’s nothing better than whipping up a back-pocket recipe or experimenting with something new,” says Nicole, whom locals also know as the former partner in the successful Bleu House Market restaurant. Her vision is to establish a community-oriented bakery dedicated to offering nostalgic treats and exciting new flavors from both the storefront and the catering kitchen.
In addition to wheat-based gourmet goodies, Gingerspice Bakery offers gluten-free sweets. “Our goal is to offer something delicious for everyone,” added Adams. “Celiac-friendly options are one of our specialties. In fact, my macarons have always been gluten free!”
