Featuring 17 second and third graders from the school’s FOCUS program, the play is more than just a twist on Rumpelstiltskin; it's a mash-up of multiple fairy tales.

Rumpelstiltskin is still a miller in this story, but he's also a private investigator. His daughter is kidnapped by the greedy king because he thinks she can spin gold, so Rumpelstiltskin investigates the case to try to get her back. He finds out that she doesn't want to be saved, though, and would rather be queen.
