Peachtree Corners Rotary Club is pleased to recognize Marilyn Silva for her classroom achievements.

At its weekly meeting, the Peachtree Corners Rotary Club recognized Marilyn Silva, a in Mrs. Gamira Smit class, as its student of the week.
A proclamation was presented to the third-grader which pronounced:
"During my career as a teacher, I often have the pleasure of having students who really love learning. This year, I am blessed to have Marilyn Silva as part of my class.

"Marilyn is a very smart young lady. She is one of the hardest, hardworking students in my class. Marilyn is very attentive when I am teaching and shows initiative through active participation during class instruction. Marilyn doesn’t mind taking a risk and continuously has a cooperative attitude toward her classmates.
"Marilyn is a girl that everyone gets along with. All of the students in my class like her because she is respectful of others and she cares about others learning.

"Marilyn is a leader and a role model in our classroom. When working on a group assignment, I can always count on Marilyn to stay on task to get the job done efficiently and effectively. Settling for anything less is not an option for Marilyn. Marilyn is a positive role model within our classroom community. I want to commend Marilyn for working diligently on being a leader and a lover of learning."
