Norcross Police Identify Shooting Suspect

Samuel Carey is believed to be armed and dangerous, police said.

NORCROSS, GA — Norcross Police have identified a suspect in a recent hotel shooting.

On August 30, officers responded to a shooting at All Around Suites, at 3175 Medlock Bridge Rd.

After reviewing surveillance videos, detectives say they were able to identify the suspect as 29-year-old Samuel Carey.

Carey is wanted on charges of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Police say he is to be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about Carey's whereabouts is asked to contact the Norcross Police Department's crime suppression unit.
