NORCROSS, GA — Police have received the identity of a pedestrian who was hit and killed Sunday at Beaver Ruin Road near Indian Trail Road. Norcross Police announced the news Thursday evening but did not publicly name the person. Police told Patch Friday the name and age of the person are not being released due to the active investigation. Police released Monday a sketch of the person asking for the public's help in identifying the person. Police said earlier in the week all parties involved were identified except for the pedestrian. Details regarding the accident have not been released, and police told Patch Monday the type of vehicle in the crash is not being released due to the active investigation. Potential charges in the case are unknown.
