Norcross Police Seek Armed CVS Robbers

NORCROSS, GA — Police in Norcross are asking for the public's help identifying two armed robbers who recently hit a CVS store.

The attempted robbery happened last Friday at the CVS at 5304 N. Buford Highway in Norcross.

The two suspects were captured on video surveillance footage.

The first suspect is wearing a red shirt and an Atlanta Falcons cap. The second is shown wearing a red, hooded Falcons sweatshirt and has his face covered with a white and black bandanna.

Police believe the first suspect, who entered the store alone, was acting as a lookout for the second.

According to a police report, the masked man walked to the cash register, pulled a handgun and demanded $100. The cashier started to cry and a second employee came to the register, saying they weren't going to give the man any money.

When she picked up the phone to call police, the suspect ran away.

When police arrived, they found a Falcons sweatshirt, a pair of gloves and what turned out to be a BB gun on the ground near where the suspect had been seen running away.
