A woman interested in the phone, whose image was released by police Monday, reportedly met the victim inside the store. When the two walked outside, the victim handed the woman the phone so she could inspect it. She then allegedly grabbed the phone and jumped into a waiting black Toyota Corolla.
There were reportedly three black men in the car. After they sped off, the victim chased the Corolla onto the interstate and then onto surface streets before ending the chase when the suspect's vehicle started driving into oncoming traffic.
