Police: Son Appears To Have Killed Mother, Sister, Then Himself
The Norcross shooting happened at about 4 p.m. on Friday.

NORCROSS, GA — Gwinnett County Police are investigating a Friday shooting in Norcross in which they believe a son may have shot and killed his mother and sister, then himself.
Police were called about 4 p.m. to the 700 block of Pebble Creek Drive in Norcross by the father who lives at the home.
He said he came home to find his wife, 55, son, 26, and 10-year-old daughter dead from gunshot wounds.

Gwinnett Police Cpl. Deon Washington said police "are investigating the possibility" that the son was the shooter and ultimately turned the gun on himself.
"However, that information is still being vetted and the final manner and cause of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner," Washington said in a news release.

Detectives are working to determine the sequence of events that took place before and during the shootings.
The release said police also are investigating "why a tragedy like this would happen one week before Thanksgiving."
"By answering those difficult questions, our hope is that the impacted families will be able to grieve and begin healing," Washington said in the release
Gwinnett County Police have contacted local clergy and our Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) team for the relatives of those involved and responding police officers.
