Robbery Investigation Leads to Illegal Dentist Office Bust
Gwinnett County Police say they found the unlicensed operation while following up on a call about a stolen oven in Norcross.

NORCROSS, GA — Police officers trying to solve a robbery ended up busting two men they say were operating a dentist's office in Norcross without a license.
About 1 p.m. Monday, Gwinnett County Police were contacted in reference to tracking down a stolen oven.
The victim said he'd reported a burglary in Atlanta, then found his stolen oven through an advertisement on Cragislist. He'd arranged to meet with the seller on the 4200 block of Steve Reynolds Boulevard.

A Gwinnett police officer got a search warrant for the location. When he arrived, he met with Peter Kiriliuk, a woman, a man and two small children in the front office of the suite.
There was a locked door and officers could hear movement inside, but the occupants refused to come to the door after several requests, police said.

They forced the door open and found Yuri Aleksandruk and a woman inside. Police say it was immediately clear that Aleksandruk was conducting dental exams in the room.
During interviews with police, they say Aleksandruk admitted to practicing dentistry in the room without a proper license.
He said he is a licensed dentist overseas and that he paid Kiriliuk to practice dentistry at the suite, according to police.
Both men were charged with one count of practice of dentistry without a license.
According to investigators, Aleksandruk had been practicing at that suite for about a month. He had an appointment book showing upcoming appointments and most of his clients traveled to the location from out of state, they said.
Police said the operation of the dentist's office is not believed to be connected to the stolen oven, but just happened to be at the same location.
