Our Rotary Student of the Month is Jasmine Diaz-Roblero. Jasmine is a great listener and thinker. She isn’t always the first one to raise her hand to answer a question, but when she does, her answer is well planned and executed. She enjoys helping around the classroom, whether it is volunteering to be the substitute worker when someone is absent or straightening a messy area. Her compassionate spirit extends to her classmates also. She eagerly provides assistance to those in need without prompting. Her positivity is an asset to my classroom.
Fourth grade can be challenging for students because of the need for organization, consistent focus, and perseverance when encountering an area of difficulty in a subject area. Jasmine has flourished because she never gives up and consistently does those things that are keys to success, i.e. homework, morning work, completing assignments.

In addition to Jasmine’s great character, she earned a place on the honor roll for achieving A’s and B’s. She also received the “Out of This World” award for her stellar behavior. Jasmine is surely a suitable choice to receive the Rotary Award. I am expecting great things in her future.
