Summer Lunch Program - Needs Volunteers

MUST’s Summer Lunch Program is in its third year in Gwinnet County and we are in need of volunteer drivers and lunch packers.

Since its inception almost 20 years ago, our Summer Lunch Program continues to deliver sack lunches to children who normally receive a free or reduced priced lunch during the school year, as well as their younger siblings. As this program is in eight counties this year, partnership with other organizations within these communities is imperative for the program’s success. We have two Gwinnett County host sites this year, Lawrenceville First UMC and Mt. Carmel UMC. Our greatest need is for drivers and packers at our Mt. Carmel (Norcross) site. There are children on the waiting list that we cannot deliver to in the Norcross area due to the lack of volunteers.
