Suspects Sought in Norcross Home Invasion

Three men forced their way into a Norcross apartment, then into the bedroom to rob the couple that lived there.

NORCROSS, GA -- Police are seeking three men who forced their way into a Norcross apartment and robbed the couple that lives there.

The home invasion happened June 9 at 1355 Graves Rd. in Norcross.

At around 1:30 a.m., a man heard a loud bang on his door. Police say he got out of bed to see what the noise was, at which point the front door was kicked open and three men entered the apartment.

Two of them had handguns.

The victim ran back into his bedroom with his girlfriend and tried to to hold the door closed, but the robbers were able to overpower him and force the door open.

Once in the bedroom, they demanded cash. They ended up leaving with more than $200 in cash, credit cards, an Xbox and a cellphone.

Several hours later, the victim's credit card was used to make a purchase at Walmart.

Police are now trying to identify suspects in the case using video surveillance that was captured at that Walmart.

The suspects are described as:

_ A Hispanic male wearing a mask with a skull, dark hoodie, and dark pants, 5’6” 140 lbs

_ A Hispanic male wearing a blue mask, dark colored hoodie, and dark pants, 6’0” 160 lbs

_ A black male wearing a dark hoodie, dark pants, and a blue mask, 6ft 160 lbs

Anyone with information in the case is asked to contact the Gwinnett County Police robbery unit at 770 513-5300. Crime Stoppers tipsters can receive up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.
