The Duluth Montessori School would like to invite you to:
The Elementary Experience Social
We will be hosting this event on Sunday, November 10, 2013 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Sugarloaf Campus in Duluth.
Learn how the Montessori curriculum is especially powerful for children ages six to twelve. Hear from teachers, former students and parents about the experience of being a Montessori elementary child and transitioning to a traditional environment.
Dr. Anissa Vega will share her presentation, “Putting Your Mind at Ease: Understanding the difference between the Montessori experience and public education during the elementary years”. This is a wonderfully insightful look at the importance of the critical skills and components built into the Montessori philosophy.
You will also have an opportunity to meet our Adolescent Program teacher, Brigitte Almand, and learn about this exciting new program that we offer.
We strongly encourage parents of infants and toddlers to participate as well.
