- What are you selling at this year’s Whistle Stop market?
We sell over 50 artisanal flavored pastas. All pastas are made with natural ingredients using Italian methods and equipment. Pappardelle’s Pasta is sold in some of the most famous markets in the United States. Ever watched a movie filmed in Seattle, WA. They always film a scene at Pike’s Market. Pappardelle’s is there, along with the salmon throwers.
- Where’s your farm or where is your product made?
The product is made in Denver, CO. A small business that makes the pastas for restaurants in the western United States.

- How long have you been in this business?
We have sold this pasta for 7 years, at farmers markets, festivals and even Taste of Atlanta.
- Why should people buy at the farmers market vs. the grocery story?
Farmers markets provide fresh from the farm vegetables and fruits. They also provide an assortment of foods that complement the locally grown products. In the case of pastas, breads, deserts etc. wheat is not grown locally in Georgia.

- Why did you start your farm or business?
We started 7 years ago at Piedmont Park. I bought this pasta for myself, since the late 80s.
- What is the most unique item that you’ll have at the market this year? Tell us about it.
All of our varieties are very unique, because they cannot be found in any store. Pasta blends of flavors make unusual and beautiful dinners. Want a unique dinner for a party, try Calypso Blend of peach-mango, lime, and red chile shells combined to make a dinner with coconut shrimp and mangos. Bring out the Jimmy Buffet music! Follow that up with chocolate pasta for desert!
- Tell us about your growing practices or philosophy.
Pastas are made with natural ingredients. The base of Italian pasta is Semolina Flour. All the flavors are made possible by using dried herbs, vegetables, and fruits.
