As we sail into the holidays, hostess gift ideas abound. Worcestershire Pecans are so easy to make and are perfect to give as a hostess gift. There are so many choices in pretty packaging and everyone appreciates something homemade. These pecans are a family favorite that I make year after year.

1/3 c butter, melted
1 T Worcestershire sauce
½ t Tabasco
¼ t freshly ground black pepper
1 t salt
1 pound pecan halves
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees. Whisk the melted butter with the next 4 ingredients in a large bowl. Add the pecans and toss with a wooden spoon until all are coated well. Spread out on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes and then stir. Bake 5 minutes and stir again. Bake 5 minutes and remove from oven. Spread the pecans on a wire rack until cooled and dry. Do not put them on a paper towel because it will absorb the butter. Store the pecans in an airtight container.
