The lacrosse club contined it's success this weekend winning two out of three games. The Lakeside varsity team dropped the weekend's first game against the Creekview squad in a tightly contested game 9-8. The Vikings went down 4-0 early in the first quarter but fought back to even the score late in the game only to lose on a late Creekview goal. Leading the scoring for Lakeside varsity team were Brandon Clark (2) and Biondi DiForest (2). Also contributing goals on Saturday were Cody Baynum (1), David Sidlow (1), Geoffrey Clark (1) and Drew Derrico (1).
The Lakeside JV unit recorded a 3-1 victory over Creekview in a defensive battle in the second game. The Vikings put the game away on a 4th quarter goal by Adam Ehrenberg. Leading the scoring in the second game was Adam Ehrenberg (3) followed by Michael Kreager (1) and Drew Derrico (1).
Lakeside traveled to Peachtree City for the second series of the weekend and came away with a combined squad 9-3 victory. Lakeside jumped out to an early lead and never looked back behind the play of Keenan Carter (3) and Brandon Clark (3). Also scoring in the contest were Cody Baynum (1), Brandon Jones (1) and Jacob Smullian (1).

Lakeside JV plays next on 3/24 against Union Grove at home and the combined squad plays on 3/25 against both Milton and Oconee up in Milton.
