Cobb Tots & Kids has the prescription for possible cabin fever due to wet weather this week. Daily guide of things to do for the week of June 11-15 to entertain your family on a budget.
With lots of rain in the forecast, hereβs my list of daily picks for the week of June 11-15 that will keep you & yours from catching cabin fever this week!
MONDAY: Take a Back Stage Tour at the Woodstock Dwarf House Chick-fil-A today from 2-4pm. Tours are FREE and scheduled every 30min. Tours also offered on Thursdays from 2-4pm and Tuesdays from 9am-11am.Β Sign up online.Β
TUESDAY: Β Tweens & Teens (6th grade +) canΒ learn to bellydanceΒ at theΒ East Cobb LibraryΒ from 3:30-4:30. Kids too young to shimmy? Check out the library for other fun like theΒ magic showΒ also happening Tuesday or theΒ storytime schedule.Β Programs are FREE!

WEDNESDAY:Β TourΒ Marietta Museum of HistoryΒ with resident mice Murray & Etta during the museumβsΒ Mice Tour. This one-hour tour is for toddlers ages 3-5 and their parents. This month learn all about history through βEttaβs Favorite Colors.β COST: $5 per family and pre-registration is required:Β 770-794-5710. This is monthly program so mark your calendar for their next tour on July 11th.
THURSDAY: Tour the High Museum for Β½ price each Thursday from 4pm-8pm.Β Click HERE to learn more. The High has tons of fun forΒ familiesΒ and make exploring the museum more interesting for kids. Kids can have some hands-on fun in the Greene Family Learning Center where you can also pick up a self-guided family tour brochure or borrow one of their Discovery BackpacksΒ for free which take you on a 30-45 minute journey around the museum.Β

FRIDAY: Make aΒ Pop-up for Pop during Art Stationβs Art al a Carte WorkshopΒ from 3:30-5pm. COST: $5 per child at the door for Cobb residents. You can just drop-in but best to email them ahead of time so they can get a head count for supplies. The project usually takes about 30 minutes.
