Winship at the Y is a wellness partnership between the YMCA of Metro Atlanta and Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. Research shows exercise can reduce the risk of cancer recurrence and mortality in some cancers. Exercise during treatment helps combat fatigue and may be linked to a better completion rate for chemotherapy.
