Cobb Upgrades Road Service App
The county's YourGOV's smart phone app goes live with a new mapping system on Monday.

MARIETTA, GA -- See a gnarly pothole? A backed up storm drain? Maybe a busted sidewalk? Cobb County Department of Transportationβs YourGOV smart phone and web application, enabling citizens to put in CDOT work order requests on their own, is getting an upgrade.
Since 2013, Cobb Countyβs citizens have been able to submit non-emergency service requests related to CDOT work management system regarding issues such as potholes, traffic signals, debris, signage, drainage and sidewalks that affected their communities. Citizens are also able to track the progress of their requests and receive automatic updates throughout the lifecycle of their request.
Effective Monday, April 11, the web-based app will go live with a new mapping upgrade thatβs more user friendly. By accessing the YourGOV website or using the smart device app, citizens can photograph a problem and request that work be completed at a specified location.
