Dancing with the Stars of Cobb County!!
Local Charity has local Stars dancing to raise money for local cancer patients.
Loving Arms Cancer Outreach presents “Dancing With the Stars of Cobb County”. Come out and watch local heroes strut their stuff on the dance floor!!
Loving Arms Cancer Outreach, Inc is a non-profit organization whose focus is to make the cancer journey a little easier for those afflicted with this cruel disease. Our mission is to provide hope and joy as well as education and support to empower patients and their families throughout the journey. We provide financial assistance, free wigs, hats, scarves, medication assistance, gas/ grocery cards and support groups. The patients pay nothing because of community minded people like you. Loving Arms could not assist people “where the rubber meets the road” if not for people and businesses donating their time and money. We are funded by sponsors, donations and fundraisers, which brings me to the reason for this press release.
Our next big fundraiser is November 1, 2014 at 7 PM. It is “Dancing with the Stars of Cobb County”. What is Dancing with the Stars of Cobb County? It is a fundraiser where local celebrities/heroes in our community will be trained by professional dancers to perform at the event on November 1st. We will sell tickets to this event. General Admission tickets are $10 each, VIP/ Prime Seating tickets are $20 each, and VIP Gold/ Premium seating with a meet and greet with the Stars tickets are $40. Tickets are available at www.lovingarms.support or call 770-590-5153 Mon- Fri between 10am and 3pm. Before and during the event, the audience will cast votes for their favorite Star/dancer which will cost $1 per vote. Basically the “Star” that raises the most money receives the “People’s Choice Award”. The competition will be judged and the “Star” with the most points will win the “Judges Choice Award”. All funds raised will go directly to Loving Arms Cancer outreach to assist cancer patients in their time of need.
