Early Voting Begins Today

There are several options available to voters who don't want to wait until July 31st to cast their ballot.

Early voting in is underway for the which would add a one cent sales tax to pay for various projects if passed.

The voting, which started Monday at 8 a.m., will run until July 27, according to the Cobb County Board of Elections and Registration's website. The voting period is between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and on July 21 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Voters do not need a special reason to vote early.

Early voting is being held at the , at 736 Whitlock Ave., in Marietta.

Additionally, early voting satellite stations will be operating between July 23-27 in the following locations:


  • Hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • Hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • Hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • Hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

People wishing to vote on July 31 will report to their normal polling place.
