GA Consumer Watchdog Groups to Speak on Legislative Redress of EMC Depredations

Georgia Watch and Common Cause speakers will address the Cobb Alliance for Smart Energy on initiatives in the Georgia legislature for new laws to impose more oversight and accountability on Electric Membership Corporations, to overcome the regulatory gaps that for Cobb EMC have produced years of mis-administration, unending lawsuits, postponed co-op elections, and the indictment of CEO Dwight Brown for theft and racketeering.
