Kell Kicks Off Homecoming Weekend

The Longhorns' parade and bonfire start the festivities.

The Longhorns kicked off their homecoming weekend in style Thursday night with a parade and bonfire, despite the rain that showered the area just before the parade began.Β

The parade included the marching band, members of the homecoming court, school administrators Trudie Donovan and Peter Giles, members of the ROTC, members of the Kell VarsityΒ football team, cheerleaders, and representation by many of Kell's student clubs.Β

Immediately following the parade, the senior football players participated in a rite of passage by lighting the homecoming bonfire.Β
