“IBM is very dedicated to providing support and learning opportunities to the students at Kincaid. We host two engineering camps each year and also give students the opportunity to visit the IBM campus on career day,” Cook-Boyd said.

Volunteer Dawn Bornstein, a member of the Kincaid PTA and former student at the school, enjoyed spending time with other PTA and faculty members as they merrily spread pine straw around the property.

“It’s just wonderful to see all the people that showed up today to help out the school,” Bornstein said. “We’re very proud of our school, and it feels like we’re one big family here.”
