Lassiter High Graduates Class of 2011
Thursday's commencement was held at the KSU Convocation Center.
Despite the storms, thousands attended the Commencement Ceremony for Lassiter High School's 452 graduates.
Lassiter was named a Georgia School of Excellence in 2010 as their Georgia High School Graduation Test scores were among the top ten percent in the state.
The valedictorian, Katherine Olivia Merchand, set the bar high with a GPA of 4.75.

Principal Dr. Chris Richie announced that 75 percent of the 2011 graduating class earned a 3.0 or higher.
