Car Strikes House in Dacula
A home onΒ Vista Creek Drive in the Hamilton Mill subdivision of Dacula was damaged after being struck by a car shortly after midnight on Dec. 15.
According to Sgt. Brian Doan of the Gwinnett County Police Department, the vehicle struck a non-load-bearing wall. Details regarding the accident are not yet available, but Doan said it did not appear as if anyone had been injured. Doan confirmed the driver of the vehicle was arrested, but did not have information regarding the charges. Read more on Dacula Patch.
Man Shot, Killed in Apparent Robbery
A local man was shot and killed Sunday night in an apparent robbery and Cartersville police have no suspects.

Chief Tommy Culpepper said in a news release officers were dispatched at 11:08 p.m. to the Sun-Glo Car Wash on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in response to a call about a man lying in the car wash next to a pickup truck. Read more on Cartersville Patch.
